I am sorry the breakfast post is late but I have excuses. I was painting door steps and a window and I have been making maintenance on my computer.

 

Watching the London Marathon...one of those things better watched than done. Hats off to all of them, both for the pain endured and the money raised. And to think I was a very good cross country runner 50 years ago!

It is cold and wet and the nights are drawing in here.

Apart from that I have been thinking of the dreaded period when there is no football. I assume the Nest will still be going strong and the topics for debate will increase.
One of the things that appealed to me about the old 606 was the level of conversation on the Watford board compared to the others I looked at. A discussion on the merits of Arnold Bennett that was kept within the mods rules was particularly good.

I'm not sure what I am trying to say, other than keep posting in the off-season. I'm sure we will find something to talk about.

 

NZ - it will be easier to post off season on not606 as there are no rules banning topics - so we will probably go across a numbe rof sports as well as anything else that takes our fancy.

Wahay, my epic 9 days is finally over!! 2 weeks of rest await me. Last 4 days at work, followed by 11 days off decorating and then start my new job!!

At last, a bit of relaxing time - before I venture into the loft and search for our travel bags! Been a manic week-end and I am looking forward to jetting off to the middle-east on Thursday and meeting the latest addition to the W_Y family... Much baby head wetting will be undertaken...

 

Be careful then w-y when de-nappied babies have their own idea of head wetting

 

Lenny - yes, I seem to remember my sons had a bad habit of that... Luckily Mrs W_Y will be at the front for those type of activities whilst I will be guiding my nephew in the pleasures of fine brandy and cigars
