What was that disgraceful exhibition about after the end of a marvellous match at Wembley yesterday???
Probably because Ferdinand remembered a few lines from Winsto Churchill Now this is not the end...................... It is not even the beginning of the end.................. But it is,perhaps, the end of the beginning. Just maybe, yesterday, the City players thought of themselves as a team for the first time. And with that thought came self-belief.
Yeah me too! Watching grown men throwing their dummies out their prams is always worth a laugh... The only person i thought was disgraceful was Mr Scholes.
True, its only a matter if time before someone says 'Good old Scholes, he just doesn't know how to tackle' though.
From what I saw, Anderson went to shake hands with Balotelli at the end of the match and Balotelli laughed in his face and started waving his City badge at the United fans. Rio then took offense at this and so all three players had a bit of handbags. A shame that Balotelli had to show his immature side again after a good second half display.
Storm in a teacup - Balotelli waved his badge at the united fans and then winked at Ferdinand who then threw his toys out of the pram and started chasing him around a la Benny Hill. It took an old wise head in David Platt to calm things down, even then Ferdinand was poking him in the throat - he was lucky not to get an FA charge. Some of the Utd players lost their cool yesterday, Scholes being the obvious example. City rattled them and now everyone else left to play Utd will fancy their chances.
I'm more surprised Balotelli escaped without a charge. After all, he did pretty much the same thing as Adebayor and Neville were fined and warned for in the past.
I am seeing why I stay off this board, Swarbs, Baloteli should have got a charge? Rooney swears into a camera at all fans and United fans scream foul by the FA yet Baloteli raises a badge and he should be charged, ffs what numptyism, I wont even stay to read replies, you lot are sad sad bitter b@st@rds
I didn't say he should have been charged, I said I'm surprised the FA didn't charge him after they also charged Neville and Adebayor for doing the same thing. Or are you saying Neville shouldn't have been charged after waving his badge at 'pool fans in 2007? Rooney should have been charged as well. But he should have been charged with bringing the game into disrepute, rather that with swearing during the course of the game. By charging him with swearing, and getting the ref to say he would have sent him off if he heard him swearing, the FA have selectively applied that rule, and thus made a mockery of the rules.
Nice.. Completely misinterpret a comment, and then use it to form a stereotype for all United fans... Well done, great contribution.
Ferdinand got wound up because he's been shagging a Welsh slapper and the City fans were taking the piss out of him
I see when its your players that act foolishly it makes everybody a bitter for mentioning it? Knee-jerk mantra methinks
Absolutely! his actions were disgraceful and brought shame on the club. Even though I believe he was right he should have kept his gob shut
City had one shot and scored. Mike Dean shouldn`t be allowed to ref again as he cost us the game sending Scholes off. Zabareta did a far worse tackle on Scholes before that and just got a yellow, when he shouldn`t even ofbeen on the pitch. Once again bent referees have cost us. Preety poor showing from little citeh when they are outplayed by Man Utd reserves with 10 men. Stoke will win the cup this year as you have used all your luck up now. Crap cup anyway we have Champions league to add to our premiership title. 36 years 36 years the banner is moving on again in May. You sad bitters
