Because that IS what you think. Read your more recent posts, you said he is up there with Ronaldo and Messi, which I find very hard to believe.

I have read the thread, who the **** are 'whoscored'? Are they the be all and end all of footballing opinions? Are theirs the only opinions that count? I'm am not discarding Cazorla as world class, I'm merely saying he's nowhere near the level of Messi or Ronaldo. As for your last sentence, well that's subjective, I believe Mata would get into most teams in Spain with the exception of Madrid/Barca.
    Same with Ramires.

    Here's the quote btw

Before you have a pop again, I do know what you mean by saying people in Spain think this, my argument is that I find that hard to believe, and by backing their opinions so strongly it would suggest to me you feel the same way.

Whoscored are one of the statistics sites on the internet. They are very useful when researching players. http://www.whoscored.com/

I'm sure the guy is a very good player (though obviously not world-class, at least yet), but is Wenger really looking to bring in another midfield tiny tot? He'll get blown away when the wind comes in at the Britannia.

I hear that he rejected Barcelona last year for a move to Malaga. Seems to be the type of player that prefers to be the big fish in the little pond. I'm not saying that we're a little pond but atleast it might be less likely that he jumps ship to wear blue in a years time.
Never thought i'd see the day that 'Arsenal', '£17.3m' and 'bargain' are used in the same sentence.... http://www.breadandbutterfootball.com/santi-cazorlas-coming-to-town/

He got the third highest amount of MOM awards in La Liga last year, only behind Ronaldo and some little Argie dude.

I guess the same disgusting treatment applies to Cazorla as it did to Pirlo, he won't be classed as a world class player until he has done something good, either against England, against an English team, or in England.

Some of you really need to stop commenting on this player. He'll be one of the biggest stars next season.

Nobody is denying he is very good. He is extremely good. However we have a problem when you use the words World Class. He isn't World Class but he, like Arteta, is very close to that level.

And how do you know he isn't world class?

You've seen him play 20 plus times in his league games last season?

Starting to wonder why anyone should give a monkeys. Different definitions of world class, different judgements of the player's skill. There's two variables no-one will agree on. Just agree to disagree?

No, because some people are severely under rating him.

The trouble is you keep saying that kind of thing - this guy is generally rated far, far above Arteta. And quite honestly based on the facts, it should be very obvious he is several levels in class above Arteta.

He's a good player, your transfer dealings this summer put you in a good position to guarantee top 4 with or without RVP.

    P.S You're still a prick. <ok>

The problem here is that you are arguing about the term, that has no definition. What is "world class"? I had a great cup of coffee this morning. I still wonder was it world class or just very very good.
Can anyone come up with a definition of the term and produce a list of current players who meet it? Thanks.
PS not that I am too concerned if he is world class or just very good... I just want to know if he has leadership qualities that will make him our new leader in midfield, or he is just a good player who will add some creativity. In other words , is he proper replacement for Fabregas or no

As for "world class" or WC - I think WC is a player who is capable to play in pretty much every team in the world providing they suit his style. Here Cazorla looks like WC. If WC is the elite group of household names who command crazy fees and salaries, he is clearly not here yet. The reson is he has not yet led a big club to big trophies.
If Cazorla has this quality and this ambition, Arsenal will provide him with the opportunity. I hope ue is nope is f

HIZMO isn't A prick. HIZMO is THE prick. Comes on here pretending to be an Arsenal fan, posting inciteful **** to try and start arguments.

He needs to be made to disappear before the new season starts imo. Get rid of the cnut!

p.s Cazorla is abover average. That is all.

Nobody thinks QPR are 'scum' except you. We hadn't played each other in the league for years and then had two close games last season with little controversy so I'm not sure what your problem is.
