    Haven't seen Borini touch the ball yet. Gerrard tried a long ball, got cut out and Gomel have a corner. Runs loose in the area and shot goes high and wide.

    Gomel had the better chances so far - can tell we are still in pre-season mode.

    Problem at the moment is there is no link up play between midfield and forwards. Can tell it's a new system and still a massive work in progress.

    I can see that... but on the LFC site it states we were due to play in our 3rd kit, but it clashed with their home kit. I just don't quite see how Purple clashes with Green...
