Not confident, as ever. You have to look at the motivation of both teams. Arsenal cannot afford to drop any points in their hunt for the title. We have motivation, but not like that, Arsenal will throw everything at us.

However, I can see Carroll causing them some real problems and Suarez is due a goal. Who knows. Head says 2.1 Arsenal, heart says 1.2 Pool.

I think City showed the folly of judging by the last game.

Our away form doesn't instill major confidence but then neither does Arsenal's defence, if you can call it a defence.

I'm sitting on de fence (sorry) and going for the draw but with a side order of gurny Utd gobs if Arsenal win on the back of the treble going down the pan.

People will make a lot of us 'handing' United the title to overtake our record if we win today. But I dont buy that. We have to be selfish and win what we can. If we don't win the league then it may as well Reading winning it. Makes no real difference.

I'm actually quite optimistic about today. Against Man city, both Spearing and Flanagan were vying for spots in this match and to be considered in the future. Flanagan especially knows how quickly Kelly jumped onto the scene and wants to do the same, Spearing knows this could be his last season if he doesn't make an impression quickly. Lucas was trying to prove he can replicate Gerrard whilst performing his usual duties. Aurelio was also trying to get his position at LB sorted, as Robinson is just on the sidelines trying to get his time on the pitch.

So overall, Man city was like an audition for who comes up against Arsenal. I think if we're going to see anybody fight for their lives on the pitch, it'll be today.

I think arsenal will bottle it and we'll help United to a 19th as we are beating all their chasers, City Chelsea now Arse.

The treble was never on by a million miles and yesterday proved it, they may win the prem, no CL tho.

I really don't care if Man U get their 19th title, as long as we beat them to the 20th.

And you aren't? The last time you got close to winning the title you choked and you completely gave up after a difficult start the season after. We aren't the only team to have little backbone.

You mean the season when at this point in we beat Man United 4-1 and Real Madrid 4-0 ? Doesn't look like we were bottlers; rather hit a bad run of form. We never went into a Carling cup final and lost to Birmingham, nor did we go 2-1 up to Barcelona and then bottle it away.

Looking foward to today's game. Yes, our away record isn't very good but we always seem to perform aganist the 'bigger teams'. Going to go 1-0 Liverpool. Not sure who's going to score.

Yeah he is going to be a big name for the future and is going to make many more apperances for you in the future, he is an example of why I love football with all the new players coming through your team.
    Spearing isn't bad either.

Yeah, players like Flanagan, Spearing and Kelly are going to the future of Liverpool. Along with quite a few players coming through the academy who look promising. The future does seem very bright indeed. <ok>

You haven't seen the half of it yet mate, you think Flanagan and Kelly are good - wait until you see Sterling, Suso, Coady, Morgan, Saric from our U18s!
