This isn't something new with Scholes, he has a reputation to make those sort of challenges. It's included in his style of play, that's the whole package you get with him as a player.
To be honest couldn`t care less about the FA Cup. Fergie and United have left domestic cups behind. Surely with the reserve team we put out that proves we have bigger targets than some overated crap cup. People only rate the cup because it was the only live game shown in black and white. Scholes getting sent off for a tackle that wasn`t even a booking as the little citeh player made a meal of it and got him sent off. At least we never resort to such blatant cheating. That sending off did cost us the game as we were dominating up to that put whilst even with ten men we were by far the better team. Still the proper double will be an excellent end to the season.
ufos is a bit of a nutter imo. He seems to spend all his time making grand predictions about how many trophies we are going to win, insulting other teams, and making excuses whenever we lose. He's like an even more blinkered version of KPR (if that's possible!) The Scholes challenge was a 50:50 ball, but whereas Zabaletta went in to win the ball and try to avoid the player, Scholes went in to win the ball and absolutely make sure that he either got the ball or took a large chunk of the man. Ergo, straight red. No complaints here.

We were in three major cups until recently, just like you were. We were also the last Prem team to be in four cups. Utd were on top for much of the 1st half, but only thanks to Nani. The rest of the team were running around like they were terrified to be honest. Nothing to do with being tired.
