    Gary Neville was 21 when he was playing in Euro 96 Ricardo after a full season in Man U's first team, not sure what you are saying.

    Neville probably wasn't the best example, he was the first choice right back at Man United at the age of 20.

    I think the point I was making was that just because a player made his debut 3 or 4 years ago doesn't mean he has to be firmly established now. Neville made his debut in the UEFA Cup in 1992, and in 94/95 there were still times when AF would refer to play his left back at right back and a left winger at left back than play Neville. The fact he went on to play for England at the end of the following season when he was 21 shows that saying Cooper (20) is wasting his time staying here is premature, up until the point where Parker got injured, and especially when they played a winger at full back rather than Neville you'd have Man U fans saying the same things.
