    I always thought he was quite overated. But had a fantasic left foot. One of my earliest footballing memories is of his free kick against France. I also remember a goal he scored from the corner flag for Real Madrid.

    Totally agree. He was an exceptional attacking player but he was meant to be a defender, what he was rubbish at.

    I scored a goal just like the 2nd one of those at Boothferry Park the last time I played there. Only regret, and I called it at the time as one I should have saved (because there was no way I'd hit it that sweetly twice) was I did it in the warm up and not in the game itself.
