We repaid that with Byron Anthony and Joe Jacobson. LOL!

Saw Byron a few years back in Wurzel airport.

Felt sorry for him. Hed have been better off getting a job in McDonalds than playing for the West Countrys worst outfit.

I thought Tylor had a solid game last night and seemed comfortable going forward when he could.
Joe Allen impressed me as well, comfortable on the ball and doing the simple things well.
Ramsey did well but gave possession away at times too easily but a solid performance.
Bellamy, well he was just Bellamy, although a number of times I think he was taking the mickey and got clattered for it. Looked fitter than I have seen him in a while.
Cleverly played well and put himself about.
Sinclair had a good game and as stated earlier was probably told to hang back as cover for the left back (forget his name) who looked pretty comfortable as well.
Sturridge was, apart from his goal, awful. I think he was either trying too hard or is a bit arrogant. He gave the ball away all too easily and failed with the basics. Too many attacks fizzled out because of him.
The keeper had nothing of note to do in the first half but played a blinder when called upon to do so in the second half.
Micah Richards looked huge compared to his team mates, all I could see was an ass on legs! He was okay but fell asleep all to often, not very good last night.
    Caulker did okay, nothing more.

Agreed Taff. I was particularly impressed with Allens attitude. He didn't flinch in the tackle and his possibly impending move seemed the last thing on his mind. I hope wherever he plays next season, that he maintains his level of commitment to the Welsh cause.

Yes, Rambo looks an increasingly class act. He just needs to try and deliver the ball a lttle earlier at times, but in fairness it takes more than a couple of games to switch on to the runs of players he hasn't played with before.

Also agree that Cleverly had his best game thus far in the tournament.

Bellers leaves me bereft of suitable superlatives. I just hope his performances doesn't make Mr Rodgers reconsider his options.

Also thought Taylor had a good game against Uraguay.

For such a liitle guy, Allen don't half give it out. Never afraid.

Clingo, should be okay mate, rodgers only seems interested in nicking our squad.

    Didn't know Sturridge was Welsh?

I thought Butland should have stopped their goal - and he was born in Bristol. <whistle>

Back in your cage Gas and enjoy Div 2!!!!
