I'm not bitter about Liverpool taking Rodgers and wanting Allen. I'm angry that you are trying to do it on the cheap and the use of underhand tactics (tapping up and leaking contract details through the press, Rodgers making an agreement and then pissing all over it within weeks). Liverpool F.C. ceased to stand for anything when they dismantled the boot room. Now when I think of Liverpool I just think of incompetence and fans who have long since disappeared up their own arse. For the record last year there was nothing between Swansea and Liverpool, "what you done did in the past don't excite me". Pay up the £15 million you cheap bastards. P.s. Not at all, had we had Rodgers this coming season I think we would have been found out and gone down with the lack of 'plan B' of course we don't know that Laudrup will keep us up, but he will give our team a new perspective. what rodgers actually said was he wanted to have players in before the season starts... thats not this week. 4 comes from him saying before 3/4 players... all he said this week was hard work behind the scenes etc etc... but was talking more about aug 31 than the first prem game though. slap him hard i say! (we will prob get allen and dempsey and that all)
terrorwit should really quote exactly how we are talking about allen as not one iota has issued forth from LFC on it. compare and contrast to toehr talkitive clubs like say oh juventus who've been in full swing courting RVP using agents and all sorts of outlets. the bootroom comment is frankly hilarious and points to a weak weak arguement the fact is still lfc might buy allen but lfc fans are not exactly that enthused which just goes to show one "swansong" season doesn't make a club. the boy is a homegrown talent and you really ought to be admitting you're angry to lose him cos it weakens you.

Are you aware that Rodgers always talks off the record to favoured journalists. Where else do you think the contract leak came from? Rodgers talked about our 12 month agreement himself after moving, it's on the public record. So why is he entertaining breaking said agreement??? Nobody else has had a bid accepted. The fact that you responded with (I'm paraphrasing) "you don't understand the media as you support a football team that has been playing in a different division" is evidence of how Liverpool fans have disappeared up their own arsehole. I'm a graduate, I read broadsheet newspapers and tabloid newspapers, I've studied the media (admittedly only a couple of modules). You patronising twat. Swansea City have a very rich history and achieved lots of things for a football club from a town of our size where it has Rugby Union to compete with.
