I did see Sherlock with that nice young curly haired chap in a long black coat and I have seen Star Trek with "beam me up Scotty" but that was years ago. We don't have that nasty Murdoch chaps TV in our house so I haven't see those.
Yeah, I was watching season 3 on DVD a few weeks ago and it's amazing how magnificent it was back then,so,so,so funny!I've got season 4 and 5 as well so I've got a few good episodes on there. It was so well done back then (Jokes wise).I'll use a football analogy, they were like Barça back then and there like Norwich now.Shame. It's all HD quality cartoons and cheap jokes.
I've posted a full episode of the boosh once before, but just for you Godders, enjoy this. A lot of Rudyard Kipling in these stories.
The Hitcher was inspired, 'Whoaa, I've been backed up for some time boy' and 'you wanna know about my thumb boy' absolutely ****ing brilliant! Also, the desert island one where Vince admits to being the midnight barber after cutting the captains hair and getting them chucked off the ship, oh there are so mnay funny lines. Great chemistry.
It's amazing, Luck of the Fryish and Jurassic Bark are both brilliant episodes. Futurama definitely does the sad, emotional storylines better than the Simpsons (mainly because there's none in the Simpsons).
There are a few.How about when Ned Flanders 'wife,Maude, died and Homer's mum died as well...when Maggie shot Mr Burns there are few more as well.
The storyline's with Homer's mum are probably the most emotional in the Simpsons. I guess Maude's death was also emotional (I can't really remember that much about the episode) but I wouldn't really say the Who Shot Mr Burns episodes were particularly sad or emotional. In Futurama, in the two episodes I mentioned for example, they're really well done and it's not until the end of the episode you get the emotional impact.
