Another attack by Helmut Marko and the views of conspiracies against RBR, this time it looks like Ferrari are in the firing line. http://www.f1sa.com/index.php?optio...enger-says-helmut-marko&catid=1:f1&Itemid=157 Red Bull Racing has hit back at the latest Formula One technical controversy by insisting Ferrari was the first on the grid with a hand operated adjuster. It emerged in Hungary last weekend that, weeks ago in Canada, the FIA told reigning champions Red Bull to stop using a device that in theory allowed mechanics to adjust the height of the car without using a tool. The suspicion was that the team might have been able to surreptitiously make performance adjustments to the RB8 in the 'parc ferme' conditions between qualifying and the race. Red Bull's Dr. Helmut Marko, however, said the matter is simple. "We have never made adjustments by hand," he is quoted by Germany's Auto Motor und Sport. "I don't know why the others get so upset, we happen to know that Ferrari used something like that for a year," Marko said. Could that of been the reason why Ferrari were always so good off the line? Recently they don't get that much focus with starts anymore like they used to. Or... Time to make Helmut the "Bull whisperer"?
Marko is a fool. If they knew Ferrari were using it (and therefore getting away with it), Red Bull would have protested immediately (which they didn't do), or copy it (which he denies). Therefore his claims are bullshit. Marko always makes stupid comments. He can't handle the fact that Alonso is owning them in the championship, which is why recently he's been going after Alonso and Ferrari, saying anything he can try and discredit them. He recently described Alonso current run as a "lucky streak", then has the gall to accuse other teams of "jealousy and envy".
What does Helmut actually know about the design and mechanics of the cars? especially that of a rival team? biggest bull-****ter in F1
I saw the title and read it literally, i thought the ferrari had a device that adjusted drivers hands, not vice versa.
He is surrounded by experts in the field though, so maybe a drop of technical intelligence by accident got into his ear and gave him a stupid thought to go off on one with the media? How the hell did this guy get a doctorate in Law? or did they forget to finish the sentence "Lawnmower pushing"
