With more players on the way in and on the way out to make room what would your best 11 look like based on who is at the club today (no cheating and coming back to this thread when we have signed Messi, Ronaldo and Rooney!) Apologies if this is a similar thread to previous ones but things have changed so much recently I've dragged it up again I've tried a few times and I still have trouble working out a system with the "best" players because we are over-stocked with midfield and strikers. Rules - Only 11 (no substitutes) Players have to have signed either permanently or on loan by today Rather than guess a formation stick with a keeper and 4-4-2 You can assume they are at full fitness and ready to be picked by Sparky on the 18th August Here goes; Green Fabio Ferdinand Hill Traore Taarabt Park Diakite Hoilett Cisse Zamora Even with those picks I can't believe the likes of Mackie, Onuha, Young, Faurlin etc wouldn't make my starting side. With the squad we have (or can be certain of by the end of the month) we might even have enough strength and depth for something more than a relegation battle. I don't want to get reemed again for mentioning Europe but instead I'd like to hope for a decent cup run to keep us busy.
The team I would pick: Green Young Onuoha Hill Traore Park Diakite Faurlin Hoilett Taarabt Cisse Mackie as super sub

You lot don't like rules do you?! First, no substitutes but up pops Mackie and second, stick to 4-4-2 but now we are playing 4-3-3?! Go on then, pick subs and change the formation to suit. <teethgrinding>
same but onuha in for Traore and switch fabio over to LB . Also this maybe what we go with at home but could not be the x1 away.

No Park?? Park for Faurlin I say as he wont be fit to start straight away and Fabio for Traore. Other then that I agree.
