We have had much worse over the years than Alex Bruce. I still remember many who wanted to drive Michael Turner back to Brentford not long after his debut. Same people pineing for Leon Cort,,. ffs. Alex Bruce is a cheap squad cover option and good business. imo. It maybe that Paul McShane could be on his way though especially as Crystal Palace still keeping tabs on him.
Agreed. Nowt wrong with the last one. Norwich City have changed there website also. Layout just like ours. Some IT geek changing things when they dont need changing.
You've repeated almost word-for-word the argument I made to a mate of mine at lunchtime. The guy's ****.
**** me FIVE letters, that's stretching the average not606er's vocab a bit Erik. Um, err, err, no, hang on, err, mmmm................is it minge?
Yeah, that's how it happened.. "Equal opportunities to all, regardless of race or religion!" "Actually Adolf, we all kinda hate the Jews." "Oh. Really?" "Yeah..." "Right... well... death to the Jews then I guess..."
We loan out Bradley, we're sorted. I'd rather he got plenty of game time elsewhere than just a game or two behind Chester, Hobbs, Faye, McShane and Cooper, even without Bruce. Unless of course Bruce actually goes with 5-3-2.
I hope Cooper leaves. He's obviously never going to get a proper shot of first team football here so he might as well progress his career elsewhere. To be honest, we may as well close our Centre of Excellence, because we'd rather sign ****e like Bruce than use our own kids, or sign a youngster from someone else to play.
You have made a good point there. If I had a lad who was asked to join City's youngsters I think I would advise him against it because all they ever seem to do is get the confidence knocked out of them.
If I was Liam, I'd be looking at handing in a transfer request. He should be forth choice for this season(which would obviously mean being third choice and on the bench while Hobbs is out), but he's being farmed out to be replaced by the gaffer's son, I think it's it's really, really poor.
I wouldn't have been uncomfortable with him been our starting centre back for the start of the season and then if he was struggling look to replace, but I can understand why we've gone for Faye. It's the Bruce signing I'm really disappointed with.
