i dont think he is tiptoeing around it "oldco" rangers no longer play football - they will be formally wound up at some point this year
Not really. They had to take on Clydebank's footballing debts. They had to pay Morton a year's rent for playing at Cappielow or the SFL threatened to block their name change/postcode change. Clydebank didn't owe every other team substantial amounts, though, or break any registration rules so they weren't "punished" as they had done nothing wrong other than going bust.
Also, Airdrie United don't attempt to claim the history of either Airdrionians or Clydebank (or East Fife Clydebank for those of you with VERY long memories). They are listed as being founded in 2002.
RFC2012 Formerly known as Rangers Football Club PLC "The Club" is no longer a football club. This is a fact. Anyone who supports FC Sevco or whatever the **** they are called is not loyal to Rangers.
its like listening to a really really bad lawyer in a moment the judge is going to ask him to apprach the bench and say "you had better be going somewhere fast with this medro or you will be found in contempt"
I don't know how I could have left you in any doubt about this. The fact that Med Dog has already conceded the fact that Rangers are a new club makes this even more baffling. Either way, I'll not be dictated to by a small minded bigot like Paddy Med Dog
A simple one word answer will do. You're struggling to answer and I can't imagine why. Are Rangers dead? Yes or No?
Stewart Regan was asked about the history and said it was up to the fans to decide. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/19068235 You need to watch the interview its not in the article.
What are you struggling with? The football club you used to support does not exist any more. If you consider that tiptoeing then you are an even bigger spastic than I had previously thought.
Not that I care one way or another but what I cannot understand is why people argue that it's not the Club that's gone out of business, but the company which ran the business? Surely the business of Rangers is Football?
