    Ah, ER, you make a great point about Olga Korbut. One of the greatest Belarusian athletes of all time, as a proud Belarusian myself it is lovely to see her on the bbc sofa tonight and also her emphatic answer of 'I'm not Russian, I am Belarusian." to Jon McEnroe's idiocy.

    On the Mick familys subject, it seems to me that not only are me and mick the same age, but so are our mothers. How fabulous.

    Seb Coe was a class athlete, while Steve Ovett was a toiler. I'm a huge fan of both, but only one of them "glided" over the track, and it wasn't Steve.
