Spiers is 100% correct. Celtic and all the other SPL clubs should go cap in hand to Chuck Green and BEG Rangers to come home, all is forgiven. Personally I don't care if 200 men and a dog turn up for Celtic games, Rangers forfeited any right they had to play SPL football and you cannot uninvent the wheel. What's done is done so we will have to live with it even if crowds dwindle.
Look on the upside. In another few years Lawwell won't have to send around the begging letters and we'll be back in the league. Then your attendances will pick up. FACT
Point scoring over a sex abuse - beyond help. For the bitter and twisted yahoos. Point scoring over friendly attendances (or even attanedances) is just sad. Get a life FFS. A wum is a wum but
when both teams are in the spl celtic have higher average attendances - factaroonie rangers' pre season friendly crowds amounted to...... perhaps rangers' attendances this year will be better than celtics - anypone care to make a small wager with me? any way you look at it - celtic have more loyal supporters than rangers thats all folks
I don't think anyone is trying to score any points over the CBC incident, but a lot of you must accept that people at your club were in the wrong and could have done more to help those children. Let's leave it at that. As for attendances. Yes it's pre-season but you guys played ****in Inter Milan, one of the biggest clubs in Europe. You would have thought more than 15,000 would have showed up. If it was a pre-season friendly against rangers you could be rest assured the place would have sold out. But I do agree, quite a few people on here do need to get a life.
It's beyond boring. As is the other ongoing thread at the moment re Rangers existance as a club. The same repeated ****e.
I remember one of your mob doing exactly that the last time rangers played a glamour friendly and his point was that there were a couple of thousand empty seats and thought he was onto something until it was pointed out that they were ac Milan allocations and were swiftly filled by boys in blue. I wouldn't be so sure of that first point! And where are you getting your info regarding the second one?...
chapper my man just go to the average spl attendances for the last decade and you will see that 9 out of 10 times celtic have higher average attendances if, as medro implies, loyalty has a direct correlaion to watching your team play live then, ipso facto, celtic have more loyal supporters
Well why did the gates drop about 10k when rangers were on their way to 3iar? Also, obviously rangers are limited to 50k, if they were both he same size stadium then it'd be a clear result.
