I still find it amusing that these buoys not only know what went down in the meetings but they even know what our owner thinks.

    He opposed it.

    Then he accepted it.

I have no idea what went down in the meetings - it is supposition on my part, admittedly.

Why do you think he accepted the "unacceptable" "unfair" embargo?

Because if he didn't accept it, we wouldn't get a license and wouldn't be able to play any football anywhere this season.

None of you think that the ban could be explained as being a technicality other than the four week part was at all important?

It was specifically moved back to cover these dates.

    Precisely.

If it wasn't negotiated, why wasn't it applied to the original date?

It was clearly negotiated and it suited both parties.

But why did it suit the SFA/SPL/SFL?

So it really was just a pathetically failed bully tactic by Stewart "Armageddon" Regan. The man is a fanny and should be run out of the country.

It got the whole thing finally to bed - they applied a year long registration embargo in case anyone asks and the nightmare summer is almost over and there's a team called Rangers playing football again. Fans of every other team, it could be argued, have been appeased.

The SPL trying to get a share of SFL/Rangers TV money was opportunist and shameful - that's the bit Rangers fans are right to be upset about.

The SFA want Rangers to sign and register players, though - it improves their product (at least 5 games of which will be televised) but they also had to be seen to do something to stop someone running up ludicrous debts, calling in the liquidators, then carrying on as before.

Far from being immaterial it is extremely relevant. Rangers were not “Relegated”, because when liquidation became inevitable Rangers no longer had any claim to membership of the SFA, as "non-members" they had no rights whatsoever and that is when they had to rely on other clubs allowing them to enter SFL3.

That by any definition is not “relegation” nor a “Punishment” is it a “Consequence” of Rangers evading/avoiding £130m worth of debt, a write off which is now being shamelessly thrown in the faces of the people who were owed money by Rangers.

As for other teams with their snouts in the trough and making money out of Rangers perhaps you could tell me which SPL teams are now making money off Rangers who as far as I was aware are in SFL3?

The “non-punishment” is a simple concept which you are misrepresenting, Rangers are not facing "Jail time", their situation is more akin to Germany (pre WW2) being told they are not allowed to build any tanks after they have assembled a Panzer Army big enough to invade Poland with.

Are you stupid or just as I suspect you only take in information you believe to be true.

The SPL are getting the money from the Rangers games because otherwise they wouldn't have allowed us to play.

So instead of the 1 Million for the SFL clubs, it now goes to the SPL clubs - Sporting Integrity indeed.

They "blackmailed" you in other words?

Perhaps if Rangers did not **** people out of £130m they would not have found themselves in such a situation?

    Dignity indeed.

So they are liars and scoundrels and Rangers are being Victimised again despite having done absolutely nothing wrong.

Tell me Dev, without answering it like a politician a simple yes or no would suffice.

Is it fair that the SPL demand the money for rangers TV rights after not allowing us back in the league?

    Remember dev, yes or no.
