I hope there isn't an SPL2, I don't want Rangers to be lifted from the bottom leagues and placed in an SPL2 just because of who we are. I want us to work our way up the leagues, hopefully in 3 consecutive seasons, and have earned the right to be at the top of the game again.
I take my hat off to you and I would hope to be able to say the same if it were Celtic who were in this position. If only some of your fellow supporters could have the same attitude, they seem to be saying the same thing as you and then arguing that the punishments so far are enough and that there should be no more sanctions.
The SPL refused to give us our money for finishing 2nd, yet want us to pay other debts. Fines, relegation to divison 3 and a year long transfer embargo is quite enough.
Um, one fine (small), no relegation and an embargo that only stops you registering players for one winter window. Won't someone think of the children
you werent relegated to division 3 - you were liquidated and re-applied much like livi - it isnt a punishment, it is a consequence of liquidation and would be the same for any other club - why should special treatment be given to rangers in these circumstances when it wasnt to anyone else?
One small fine so far and yet the SPL have yet to give us any money for finishing 2nd in the league but want our media rights and to open up the matter of EBTs and dual contracts. They can't help but contradict themselves. 1st Sept 2012 - 1st Sept 2013 is the summer and winter transfer windows and a rule that was plucked straight out of then air.
but the dual contracts and ebts are for "oldco" so what difference does that make? or do you want to accept all of oldcos debts as well? yes - the rule was created - some might reflect that it at least allows you to build a squad capable of winning div 3 and div 2 while it applies rather than it immediately taking force no?
The prize money bit doesn't need explaining, surely? Next year, the window ends on a weekend day and has been extended to a Monday - you simply conduct the business as normal and register players on the Monday - so, you're able to sign whoever you like next window - you're also able to register players from now for another month. The only time in all of that when your club can't sign players but others can is the upcoming winter transfer window. Is this like Walter's "one hand behind my back" stuff?
So what do you buoys propose? You seem to know anything and everything about our club. More fines and point deductions to keep us in Divison 3 a little bit longer to keep us away from returning to the SPl perhaps another year.
no - i dont propose anything else - in fact i didnt want rangers out of the spl in the 1st place just dont give me this pish about how much you have been punished and how unfair it is - the majority of what has happened is consequence not punishment
We don't claim to know everything, it just seems that you know **** all apart from the lies spun by your ******ed manager and high heid yins.
Yes that's the rules in the SPL, prize money can be withheld if you owe other SPL clubs money. Your club failed to pay it's "OTHER" debts, £130m worth. WHat fines (Plural)? The £160k which you have not paid yet? You were not "relegated" as has been explained. The "Transfer embargo" is a non punishment, you are already signing players.
It's immaterial what you call it, the facts are we have been forced to drop 3 divisions. Despite kicking us out, the hypocritical SPL teams advocating 'sporting integrity' are still sticking their snouts in the trough and whoring themselves out to grab the cash we bring to the table How does the fact that we're signing players at the moment amount to a non-punishment? Would you be happy if you were sentenced to a year in jail, but the judge said you didn't have to go in straight away, but could wait a few weeks? You're still going to end up with a very sore bottom.
Nope. Next transfer window closes on 2nd Sep 2013 - registration embargo ends on 1st Sep 2013 (a Sunday). Since you like to use "effectively" on the "European ban", you have "effectively" a four week period where other teams can register players and you can't. The timings involved were the reason Green accepted the embargo.
