    Lallana, Harding, Chambo, Schneiderlin.

And now Barnard and Chaplow (possibly)

How much of a problem is this going to be? Oh, and if i've got any of these wrong, or i've missed anyone, i'm sorry, correct me.

I'm just worried that now, we have nowhere near a full squad of players, I wasn't at St Mary's today but from what i've heard, Barnard has been quite seriously hit. Could this be damaging to the crucial parts of the season?

Forte also came off injured, whilst Jaidi possibily did as well (I thought he was subbed simply because he was being done for pace, but others have said he was injured).

And whilst it's very easy to forget him, Holmes is also injured.

If we are struggling, then we are going to have to be forced into the Development Squad, players such as Oscar Gobern & Ben Reeves, who I'm sure will be ready to play. Fingers crossed the pressure won't get to them.

Saying that though, Lallana and Harding's injuries aren't longterm, however Barnard, Chambo and Spiderman i think are out for the season :/ which is a HUGE shame as they are 3 key players IMO

Yes Jaidi did come off injured, according to the report on the OS ( i THNK this is where I read it), Lee Holmes we covered for in January and Johnathon Forte will be a miss, however we can replace him, whereas Barnard, Schneiderlin and Chamberlain I don't think we can

We are so god damn unlucky with injuries at the moment. I don't really know but I haven't noticed any big injuries for either P'boro or Brighton all season. Hudders have had only really Pilkington injured.

Forte isn't injured, Chaplow is ready to play if needed, Lallana wasn't risked for this but will play again maybe against Brighton but definitely against Hartlepool, Schneiderlin will be back by Hartlepool and Jaidi was taken off cause he was shattered and getting done for pace. Chamberlain obviously out for season.

Terrible to admit, but I never look at other teams. Couldn't name one Huddersfield or Brighton player, so would never know if an important one was missing. I think we play quite a pacey form of football and players are so determined (a good thing) that they are prone to injury. Or it could be bad luck. Most teams couldn't field a decent starting eleven with our injury list, but we can. Connolly looked good, though has yet to play a full game. Stephens is promising. N'Guessan looks like he has a very good goal in him. Worried about Jaidi though Seabourne did alright. It's a shame we can't play Brighton with our best team, but I reckon we'll still win.

Fonte says that Jaidi was taken off for tactical reasons, so not injured. Phew!

Forte was taken off as he was feeling his hamstring.......Jaidi was taken off because he was being given a bit of a torrid time by there forward. In addition to which because of the difference in height it looked like Jaidi was all over the lad, when in truth if you watched closely Jaidi was being fouled every time there was a tackle. One in particular right under the referee's nose and yet he never gave it, it almost led to a goal for them. Just after he was substituted and seashell dealt with him very well. Although why he keeps going out to the left and narrows his options I will never no. Guly being played on the right of mid field is a no no in my humble opinion. He did nothing out there.....however he was the only one who was prepared to take the defense on man to man. (Along with Forte of course) However on one of his central sorties he takes on two who are frightened to touch him as he is just inside the box, beats them and he scores. I guess guys that can't be bad!! As for Barney he went over on his ankle it looked as if the defender may have accidentally stepped on part of the foot at the same time. If it is just a turn he should be back with in a couple of games although it will depend if he has done any serious damage of course, hence the x ray.

That is what I had thought at the time (I'd even mentioned Kuffour's pace a couple of times before he was subbed), and if that is indeed the case then you have to applaud Adkins. How manay managers would have waiting until either HT or until a goal had been conceded to make that change? Certainly I have no confidence that either Pardew or Burley would have made that change so early.

As for other teams' injuries, Brighton lost Lua-Lua for the season (he looked very good early on) whilst Posh were without Zakuani earlier in the season (no surprise that since he has returned in recent months, they haven't been conceding quite so many goals).

It shows how strong we are that we are still able to win games with all these injuries. I don't think Huddersfield or Peterborough would cope with 4 of their key players injured. Just imagine Peterborough with McCann, Boyd and Mackail-Smith injured.

From my view the injuries are like this:

Jaidi was limping so something was obviously up wth him...

Forte looked like he picked something up.

Barnard obviously looks like he will be out for a while, sadly... :(

Lallana will be back for next game. So much for Sky Spors and BBC saying he will be back in the starting 11 for Bristol Rovers (Shows that they know nothing)

Chaplow had a knock a few weeks ago but in fairness I reckon Adkins thinks Dale Stephens is playing better than him at the moment. Chaplow always seems to get booked when he plays and Stephens is probably playing for a contract here so Adkins may want to give him tha chance... <ok>

Schneiderlin - well he can walk fine lol, sit only a few seats away from him on match days so unsure of when he'll be back...

Oxlade-Chamberlain - also sit near him and he's still on crutches...

    COYR!

With only a few weeks left, NA will never risk Chamberlain as he is still on crutches. He said on Player that he wanted Lallana to have another week and be fit to play against Brighton. He also says that although Schneiderlin is back training, he's reluctant to take chance on further injury (as he has a history of strains after return from treatment).

A fan met Schneiderlin in the concourse and he said he hoped to be back for last couple of games. Only if we're desperate (or in play-offs) I would have thought...rather have him fresh for next year.

I didn't mean they are the 4 most important players. I just meant they are all key players. I would have Fonte, Lallana, Lambert and Barnard as the 4 most important.

I disagree with Barnard is a "key" player. Very good player yes, Very much an in-form player right now yes. But I wouldn't class him as key.

Chamberlain, Lallana, Schneiderlin and Fonte for me. They are the foundations of our side, which the rest play alongside. Then I'd say Lambert, and then Barnard.
