I read this article this morning - it's proper unbelievable.

    http://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/sport/football/spl-loses-17m-in-tv-deal-1198156

    Staggering.

It's like an attempted murder being reported as "man saves life by using blade which is too short".

I'm sure he doesn't but, like me, he finds the blatant attempt at spinning it as a negative news story staggering. Clearly there is a policy within the sports section of the Daily Record to put a pessimistic spin on any story relating to a Rangers-free SPL.

Anyone who heard Shug Keevins on the radio on Monday night would think Scottish football was on a par with the League of Wales!

No, it's just that there is an obvious way to report this story - the way every other outlet has yet the Record sticks to its repeated doom and gloom mantra and it's laughable.

There's been talk from some people about people's "agendas" from fans of all sides (alright, I'll elaborate - Chris Graham, in particular, has accused most of the country of an agenda against Rangers) when reporting like the above is the most blatantly piece of biased journalism I've arguably ever witnessed.

Honestly, read it again and read other news outlets versions of this.

It's up there with the succulent lamb session.
