He looked alright, I'm not getting fooled again though, one solid tackle he'll be out for a year!

Trouble with these games is they don't really prove or show anything nor did the tour of deepest darkest Malaysia. Still looked sharper than last preseason.

Just got back to Mildenhall after the match and even tho we didn"t see Hoillet, was a good trip to see the Hoops, as off back to Kazakhstan on Sunday and not back till October, so will have to rely on the tele and iplayer to see the games. Thought Fabio played really well in midfield and at LB when they switched. Mackie as usual gave it his all and looks very sharp. As someone said previuosly on here tonight thought Hogan played well and seems to have worked on his strength....think he will be in the squad this season. Night All.

Keep a close eye on what Oddball is doing here. Its a common tactic that I've seen used before on other boards.

What he does is, he talks up a Fringe (sh*t?) player or a useless crock (Dyer). He then spouts a line like "keep the faith" or other such drivel. He does this with every player that people rightly question whether or not they're up to the task. He's already done this with Connolly, Bothroyd, Dyer etc this pre-season and he was at the same thing with Campbell, Hulse etc at this very stage one year ago.

So, as the season progresses, there's always one surprise package that out-performs what people expected and the very second they do, out jumps Oddball declaring to the World that he'd "said it all along" and that the rest of us are??? You guessed it: FICKLE!!! Not a word will be said about the other 4 or 5 Donkeys whom he declared were World-beaters but are so out of their depth, you'd wonder whether to laugh at them or cry.

Its one of the oldest tricks in the book and he used it to considerable effect last season when Mackie sprung into life.

Oddball's a good lad but you've got to realize he's also the biggest bull-shi*ter on the entire Board!

Hogacn always plays well in pre season but he vanishes the minute the season starts. He shouldnt make the 25 simply because he will be at least the 6th choice winger.

Just back from mini-break. SWP and Adel were great, defence looked a bit shaky, Zamora couldn't hit a barn door and AJ is as short as SWP.

I went to the game and for me it shows 2 things, albeit at this stage its hard to tell.

There are not enough goals in the side as we have Zamora and Johnson who dont really score many goals and if Cisse gets injured then what.

And also, we are light in options in defence imo - we could certainly do with a strong CB and a LB as Traore hasnt got a great track record in terms of playing regularly and arguably is better at LM.

Decent performance though - what we expected tbh. But a stunning turnout for rangers fans. It was like a home game for us!
