Download festival? Who would you want to see at that? The three headliners are good - Prodigy, Metallica (seen them before) and Sabbath (obviously). Outside of that, Zakk Wylde is always decent enough, so Black Label Society - who are probably a great live act when you're hammered. Rest of it is teenage 'metal'.

Ten D (just for the laugh) maybe would have checked Machine Head, defo BLS and Soundgarden but yeah a tad teenage yankee metal for me this year (not a fan of Biffy Clyro etc). ****ing good headliners though
Yeah I've not done Glasters for a while (due to the influx of tossers with stupid big flags and half arsed line ups...oh and Radio 1 sycophants). Great headliners for Download, considering the ****e they put out at the moment. Machine Head (imo) have made one decent album, and even then it was a Master of Puppets rip off. BLS were my gateway into heavy metal, guilty pleasure these days haha. Would kill to see Ozzy + Sabbath, what a show that'd be.
Hazards class though in fairness Marin could be bargain of the year but you'll still miss the Drog as much as Torres misses the target.

Bale looked pretty Ok to me last night. Getting a bit too cocky and thinking he is above some things me thinks.
bale really has gone ego mad... you have to see that his best form was basically running down the left and donkeying in 20 balls a game. This is what leyton baines does as well. he's now "coming inside" for shots and such and co-incidentally spurs went down hill as the season went on. Dare i say it but a certain no 8 we all know did the same thing and for a while it worked until his body imploded. Bale i think believes his own hype and i have to wonder if the big clubs actually want him... hes signed up for spurs this summer long term so ended any chance of a big move. one has to wonder if any big clubs were actually sniffing round and talking via his agent.
