Great, another injury to the big list, I know I sound a little paranoid but I am concerned as too how many are out, does anyone know if they are niggles or worse, the only one I'm in the know of is Hobbs'

What a successful pre-season game. I was really excited about Amos and not Jakupovic. No doubt it'll be 9 months or something. :emoticon-0101-sadsm

Hopefully it isn't but if it is a long injury.. we'll most likely send him back to Man United and could possibly try and get Mannone??

Would want the 250k back though :bandit:

    Pre-season.

Quick dust down, and on we go.

This is worrying me too. I get the impression he's old fashioned in many ways and is just wearing them out. It's far too many niggles for a pre-season, this is what it would normally be like in the middle of a hectic March. Is it a coincidence that under NP and NB's modern methods focusing on ball work we are virtually injury free and yet as soon as Bruce comes he happens to bring all his Sunderland injury worries with him? It doesn't look like it.

As for Amos, the neck brace thing actually reassures me. If it was a knee or something then I'd be worried but these neck/head things are always just a very mild concession which forces the player off but causes them no actual long-term harm.

Rosenior's also been given the all clear after a scan today and can now step up training.

Not sure how accurate that is as Brownie was a pro-zone fanatic who got us as fit as butchers dogs pre-season with his Bolton methods. That turned out ok for us.Have my reservations about Bruce but this isn't one of them.

I can see the concern, but it could just be that Bruce is very conscious and doesn't want to risk anyone even if it's only the tiniest knock in a pre-season as it's not worth it. I hope so anyway.

Yeah i got some stick after that. If i remember rightly he supported some ****e team called Arsenal and we went on to beat them on their own patch.

Needless to say i had the last laugh. (Add other Partridge quotes if you want)

At the end of the day, you learn more when you lose than when you win.

What if you win all the time, then you will never even know what a mistake is......
