Great build up play from Taraabt - strength from Mackie - great finish.

looked pretty solid so far there

It's Wycombe in a pre season friendly. Put him against the likes of Tiote, Mikel, Song, Toure, Scholes, Parker etc then he stands no chance. A pre season friendly should surely be used to see how he performs with the team in his natural position. Again, I just find it baffling.

am i the only one to think so, but Ephraim looks quite good and confident there, might play a part in the team when season starts?

It baffles me people come on here to slag off the managers. Why don't you just trust that Hughes knows what he is doing as does Bowen and Eddie. I reckon they have a fair bit of experience.

but the best news today must be that Cisse has recovered from his slight injury at Persebaya, and ready to go when season kicks off

In his first interview on the offish, Fabio says he's equally comfortable playing either side as full back - and anywhere else they want him to play.

Maybe this was a chance to test the metal.

guess this game is still just testing players at different positions, the 2 friendlies in Germany should give a better picture where the team is going. but would have liked to see Hoillett play today...

I know we have quite a lot of fans down that way but I'm genuinely confused as to why so many people are bothering. Not complaining and it's great to help out a good club like Wycombe but it's a bit odd.

7 loyalty points means STH are virtually guaranteed a ticket to away matches, it too ages for them to be available to STH with the basic points and of course its a catch 22 situation. You cant increase points because you cant buy a ticket and you cant buy a ticket because you havent got enough points.
