GH10 Although the Sig & Verts transfers were played out in the media, Levy is now reverting to type and not allowing any speculation about transfers. Which is very frustrating for us fans. All we are reading now is guess work by the media,trying to engineer something.
The media are just rehashing an old rumour. As for the price, they regularly contradict themselves so it doesn't surprise me. He looked good the otherday against us but I agree with Red, we won't get him. He was supposedly wanting out when the first rumour came around because he wasn't getting any chances but I think he's had assurances now.

I can't imagine even thinking that levy is NOT negotiating behind the scenes. he must be. and if he is tying to keep it quiet, he's doing an amazing job. if there's actually nothing going on, then that's incredibly incredibly concerning. But I just can't see how that's possible. we are in desperate need of players in a few areas.
It would be nice if that happened - if the three strikers were Ade, leandro and Defoe, the talk of "three (strikers are) enough" would have a better ring to it. Although if Defoe was sold on and we were still in the market...
