    According to The Times, Sunderland, Newcastle and Tottenham are monitoring the progress of Aly Cissokho.

    The left-back has been rumoured to be getting restless an Olympique Lyonnais, alerting the trio of top flight clubs to his possible availability.

    Previously, the 24 year-old was priced at around £8 million, however, it is thought that he could leave France for less.

    He's a good player who would certainly improve us but when Olsson is valued at half that maybe even slightly less then I would rather us go for him.

    I'd rather have Olsson too, mainly due to the problems Cissokho has with teammates everywhere he goes.

    That said, he's a very good, quick player, and would be a massive improvement football wise.
