No quite a few on here flat out denied that the TV deal would be affected in any way. I'm not saying you did just saying that plenty said it had no bearing on the TV deal.

As I understand it, the deal that was due to expire was £13m a season... In essence - the deal just signed is the one that's been in place all along. No major loss made ...

He's mistaken No one said that the tv deal wouldn't be effected....they said the new tv deal wouldn't have much of an effect (on surviving for example)
