Well ****ing pissed off. We don't need another striker (Beckford) since we already have McCormack and Somma in that mould, but in addition to a right back (Peltier) to replace Connolly and an attacking mid (Boyd) to replace Howson, we still need a central mid to replace Clayton and a winger to replace Snodgrass.
Beckford i can understand but why are you filling your team up with average players. When/If the investment comes in and you will be able to attract better players you will struggle getting these off the books. I dont understand half your signings this summer.
Luke Varney, Andy Gray, Paul Green, Jamie Ashdown, Adam Drury If you are trying to get promoted they wont be good enough. And if the takeover goes through they will just turn into deadwood which you wont be able to shift
Yeh Drury playing in the prem last year total ****e, gray is on a 1 year contract so def wont shift him the other 3 are decent players, so if we go up maybe you could buy them !!
Similar to Snodgrass. Slightly slower but doesn't have the strength or skill Snoddy has to make up for it. Basically Snoddy but worse in every way, not what we need.
Paul Green is **** and Ashdown is a backup for paddy, unless you would prefer Rachubka ? Boyd's creative nature is emphasised by the fact that he has assisted over 50 goals for Peterborough during his time at London Road............
Yes, Paul Green is ****. Just pointing out that you can hardly hold a back-up 'keeper up as a decent signing.
At league 1. He's too good for League 1 but not good enough to go above mid-table in the Championship.

I am okay with peltier as he is better than Connelly and I am a fan of Beckford and he offers us an option of pace up front - Boyd, I originally thought okay to but the more I read about his lack of pace and being useless in the air I have gone off the idea.
Agree, would like Peltier and I think Beckford would be a great signing to pick up morale. There are much better options out there than Boyd. Hopefully Swansea still aren't keen on Dobbie.
