Two people talking sense, thank you. Neil Jones of the Echo has just said on twitter that LFC have denied any deal for Carroll.
I am OK with this for one thing and one thing only........ A striker comes in by the name of Soldado, Negredo, Cavani, ( someone like that) to replace him. Wonder what the reactions will be if next week we wrap up Ramirez and one of the names mentioned above. AC will be forgotten quite quickly.
at least now he has a chance to show what he can do. In 12 months time he will have either: - been bought for a decent fee (fair play to BR if he wasn't happy with him) - proved his worth through a good year and will come back to play for us (BR gets to test him for another year to see if he is good enough) or - played crap and we will sell him to whoever (BR saw that Carroll wasn't good enough for us)
'West Ham have denied reports linking Liverpool striker Andy Carroll with a £2million loan deal. The move would take the 23-year-old to Upton Park with a view to a £17m permanent switch.' Sky Sports
Some reports claiming that this rumour is false. Personally it seems like a stupid idea to me (as is typical with Liverpool in recent seasons unfortunately)
agreed they have been publishing patently... and rather obviously made up rumours as fact and are seriously tarnishing thier reputation. anyone get the feeling everyone is on Olympic duty and mcnulty and an intern are holding the fort??? this type of stuff is what mcnulty would love to get up to.
So this isn't true? Would only make sense for you to sell him if you had a decent replacement lined up then i think it would be worth cutting your losses on him, but it being a non story makes more sense than anything.
Getting really fed up with the BBC, might as well just pop talkshite on or go to caughtoffside - they seem more credible at the moment
Liverpol striker Andy Carroll is set for a move to West Ham United after the clubs reportedly agreed a deal this afternoon. He will join initially on loan for £2 million, with a view to a permanent move next summer for £17 million. The London club are are denying they have reached an agreement deal though, and have said that any talk of a move being completed is premature. However, various websites are stating that the transfer is imminent.
Dunc is funny and a decent listen in terms of players... but he can't be trusted whatsoever with transfers, it's all bullshit so the fools that pay for koptalk keep paying up for 'exclusive' info.
I won't believe it, until I hear it from the mouth of Dave Wheelan. If it is true, Rodgers is starting to look like a complete toss-ring "Going out on loan is good for a player..... No Carroll is not going out on load...oh look we've loaned Carroll out..."
A loan deal is no use really. Either we sell him or play him. Not too impressed if true. If he does go then we need another striker of real quality pretty quick.
