When you clearly hurt a player with a foul it's expected that you go over to apologise and see if they're okay. That's for any tackle no matter how normal you think it is, because going up, apologising and seeing if they're okay is also normal practice. As for apologising afterwards, firstly he wouldn't need to if he'd done it at the time and secondly yes he does because he was making a cynical challenge which injured a fellow player. If I injure another player when I'm playing I'll see if they're okay and apologise if it was a poor challenge on my part, as I'm sure you would, because that's what decent humanbeings do. Bale only said he wouldn't accept an apology today, that's 2 days of Adam being a rude **** later and after having been injured by Adam for a second time in two years. I think that's perfectly understandable. And AVB said that Adam should apologise before Bale had said anything, didn't he?
