All ready to assume the worst and slag off with undeserved nastiness.

the Allams, now Alex Bruce, how long before it's his Dad?

Are we just a few matches away from people calling for the managers head?

FFS the Allams, and Steve Bruce know what they are doing a lot more than their critics on here do.

Oh has anyone else not noticed that Assem brought his son into his business and they didn't do too bad did they?

On a serious note, i think Bruce will only be used as back up. I'm not saying i'm too thrilled about him signing but he's adequate back up if there are some injuries.

At least he's on a free.

I'm not too thrilled about signing Bruce. He's great cover, it's just the dressing room harmony I'm scared about. Don't want that being affected. But I support the decision nonetheless.

I fully support whatever Steve Bruce chooses to do, as he's manager of my local football team. There's no point being against him, he's probably the most high profile manager we've had. Let's just look forward to what looks to be a promising Season for the Tigers. UTT!

I think my constant message of "leave the manager alone" is spreading.
How the hell can you moan, write total **** and nonsense and criticise.
We haven't started the season yet, kicked a ball in any seriousness or seen anything negative about our recruitment. How many have watched Bruce Jnr for a few consecutive games, none of you.
Try finding something positive to post about.

It's a forum, people post their thoughts and opinions, be that on the signings, the manager, the players, the owners, the selections/formations, or anything else club related.

If we think it's a good signing, then the manager is praised, if it's not, he's gets criticised, so far Bruce's had far more praise than criticism and we're a million miles from anyone calling for his head.

Only immature players would think that Bruce will favour his son over others (because he is his son).

Alex Bruce will only play if he's the best option for the team.

    Surely everybody can see that?

Its a forum like Lambrettaman says, it doesn't matter what is discussed on here we will all support Bruce Jr. when he plays.

There are also too many people willing to create a whole new thread just to complain about fellow posters.

I would add more but OLM's already said it perfectly <ok>

Bruce Jnr is hardly a signing to get excited about and there's always going to be concern when a manager signs his son. However, I trust he'll be used as nothing more than back up and will be in the team to cover for injuries/suspension/loss of form. He's a steady player at this level and good for back up, but I can't see him getting in the team ahead of Chester, Faye or a returning Hobbs. If he plays i'll back him like I do all city players when they play. Like OLM says though, not all signings receive a positive reaction and I think we're pretty far away from calling for Bruce to be sacked.

If you don't want to see a range of opinions you're in the wrong place. If supporters didn't criticise things going on at the club then how would it ever improve?

Yes - and maybe some desk-wallah will pick up on the fact that the OWS is a piece of plop and do something about it? <whistle>

I think we have to give him a chance, as others have said will probably be used as a back up. Average players can work OK with a better player along side them, so we should give him a chance.

But do we need yet more defensive back up?

How about some more goalscoring back up?

There's a lot more talk when people are unhappy than when they are happy with something. Keep that in mind, when te **** starts to hit the fan is when this forum really comes to life.

Bollox, too many of you are having a snipe for the sake of it,never mind supporting Bruce Jnr when he's playing, support him as a Tiger now he's signed.
And yes OLM I realise it's a forum but pointless post criticising won't help our cause. Surely it's a forum for the supporters of the team with freedom to moan when things go wrong.....which isn't yet.
