    Exactly - If you are so short of defenders you have to actually play this guy it will mean you are having some serious problems. Amusing that a team with one of the best defences in the league sign a player from one of the worst, not just a player, one that hardly made the first team and actually went out on loan to Huddersfield.

    We already had six centre backs before we signed him, one first choice(Hobbs) is out until late in the year after doing his cruciate knee ligament, but Chester and Faye will be the starting pairing and I'd definitely put Cooper on the bench ahead of Bruce.

    Steve Bruce is a grandad now, probably helping young Alex out a treat. Doesnt look like a football decison signing him as pointed out by Ristac your deffence is one of the best & Bruce couldnt hold down a spot in one of the worst.
