    P4 NICO
    P14 MICHAEL

What do you make of this Qualifying result?
Apparently Michael had a DRS issue at turn 14 on his one-lap-stint in Q2 which caused him to slip out of the racing line.

Can such a small issue lose that much time?

Also Mercedes have claimed their race pace has improved, so can Michael win some points back? and Do you expect to see Nico on the podium?

Great lap by Rosberg - although wasn't he running a qualifying set up?

To be half a second ahead of Ferrari is still very impressive regardless of both drivers using Massa's set up.

Mercedes seems to be hard on it's tyres and have poor race pace - I think they have improved, but I don't know to what extent until after the race.

Michael was on softs as well as Rosberg in Q2. But they were both looking at p4-p5 finishes...

I expect Nico to get on podium, I reckon he will be gunning for Lewis in the first corner and that the fact he drives like Jenson.

They have said they have unlocked it's potential....and good for them, now they can bring serious upgrades. Be good if Ferrari also found out there problem...if they do we will be in for a fine season.

Although Vettel does look like he is in the prime position

Nico for a podium. Only has to make up one place, I think his tyre management is better than Hamilton's so I think he'll nip ahead of him for third.

Unlike Nico, Michael doesn't seem to have have "unlocked" the car. As a result it will still be slow, badly balanced and evil to its tyres. I think he'll struggle to pick up points tomorrow.

Schumacher had a problem with his DRS...the slot was open when he braked for the hairpin, it costs him 5 tenths or so....

Makes sense. That mistake did look unlike him.

Forgot about that massive lock up at the hairpin. Perhaps the car does have the pace then. I've gone with a DNF now though, so I reckon he'll trip over someone on the first lap just to justify my choice. ;)

I think is a fair thing to say that Lewis does lock his tyres more than the rest, you could see that all through his career with the Bridgstones.

I can't actually remember the last time vettel locked a wheel in quali or race (not being biased or anything, I just can't think of one). Lewis also went out on the options in practice and after 1 lap he reported they were gone etc, Vettel and Jenson kept going. I'm just thinking logically that he isn't as hot preserving tyres as he is overtaking.

I have not voted because there is no option to vote for success from one driver with the other finishing out of the points.

I have not voted because there is no option for one driver to be successful with the other finishing but out of the points.

(My apologies for repeating myself! The first time, my comment did not appear)

    Yes there is.

But where is the option for one in the points and the other not but still being classified? Or for that matter, one of them on the podium and the other finishing but out of the points?

    These options are not available.
