See the decision has gone done well with the Hull fans... Me personally......................couldn't give a ****, another cock up by Brucey boy maybe but not one that has any bearing on SAFC.

I see the twat is back in the press blaming a lack of time and his Geordie roots for being sacked! Why can't he let it lie rather than spouting lies!
Syd, Give it up mate, Bruce was a **** manager for us and continues to blame us, the fans, or anybody bar himself. I'd rather people didn't bother posting articles about him, but for you to turn it back on our fans every time is a wee bit odd, the man was taking us down. I generally don't disagree with you mate , but jesus, have a think about this. He richly deserved all the critisism, and I was one of the most patient with him.
Its a funny old world MM and I find it strange how bias can blinker vision. The OP, if I read it right, says the Hull fans are questioning Bruce, my comment is a play on that by pointing out we all do it. As for Bruce, sorry mate but I wont give up turning on anyone who sees abuse for abuses sake as acceptable, just my way and I can see more abuse coming here, sad indeed.

The weak little piece of **** is still finding new excuses..... Steve Bruce claims his lack of IT skills was given as one of the reasons behind his sacking as manager of Sunderland. The Hull City boss has revealed that a list of factors were highlighted by the club following their decision to part company with him last November. Bruce couldn't believe it when he read that his inability to surf the net or to send regular text messages were outlined as a valid justification for relieving the former Manchester United defender of his duties at the Stadium of Light. His dismissal still clearly wrangles with him, particularly having led the Black Cats to a 10th finish in the Premier League the previous season, and is denies the accusation that he hasn't embraced new technology to aid his managerial career. Bruce said: "One of the observations made was that I wasn't internet friendly, and how can an up-to-date Premier League manager not be internet friendly?" "I would rather pick up a phone than send texts. It was making me out to be a dinosaur. "Everything I put into Sunderland - the scouting networks and all the rest of it - was state of the art. All my support staff at Sunderland and now at Hull are into new technology. "Some people might have thought I was some kind of dumbwit because I don't surf the net and I'm not one for using Twitter. It hasn't done Sir Alex Ferguson any harm not being into Twitter and all these things, has it?" The 51-year-old is convinced the real reason behind his dismissal was the fact that he was born and raised as a fan of Sunderland's arch-rivals Newcastle, and when the going got tough the club's fans used that connection against him. He added: "You get the sack because of one thing - you don't win enough games, unless you are fighting with the owner or whatever. Usually it's results. "I still think that to be shown the door at Sunderland just 10 or 11 games into the season, after making so many changes in the summer, is hard but there you go. I think people there were influenced by the crowd and make no mistake, the Geordie thing came into play. "When you are doing okay, no problem. I was fine six months before, when we finished 10th. Then all of a sudden, within four months, I am a horrible Geordie b*****d. It was by far the worst abuse I've suffered throughout my career. It was bordering on the ridiculous."
This bell-end doesn't know when to quit does he? Totally contradicts himself with this particular element of his quote. It's a result business.... to f***ing right it is. Two home wins since new years day in 2011. He's totally delusional.
At the time of his sacking, and yes this is only the media, I cant remember if it was a direct quote from Quinn or Short at the time, but they said the reason he was sacked was because of the abuse he got, they didnt think anyone deserved that, and definately didnt deserve it again if we got beat in our next match, so they relieved him of his duties. Fact is though, you cant deny he got a ton of abuse in his last 2-3 matches, and only Short and Quinn and Bruce know why he was actually sacked (unless the above was a direct quote at the time). Personally I believe he would have got us out of the ****e, but its all conjecture now, we will never know one way or the other.
Isnt it time we all put the Steve Bruce stories to bed and move on. He's no longer our manager and has no connection or influence at our club any more, what he says or the media prints is of no interest too me any longer and I think we should all ignore it.
Be glad when the season starts, we seem to be rehashing the same storys over and over. Mind the lack of transfer dealings, has a great impact at the moment, so can sort of understand it.
Maybe Brucey boy can buy this lad, and have a mag threesome love in. MATCH-winning Geordie Steve Howard admits he will cherish his first-ever goal against Sunderland. The 36-year-old’s ninth-minute strike proved the difference between Pools and the Black Cats during last night’s well-contested friendly at Victoria Park. And for Newcastle United nut Howard, the identity of the opposition made his evening all the sweeter. “It’s nice to score in any game – but against them is even better, I just wish it was in the Premier League,” the big striker told SportMail today. “Everyone knows I’m a massive Newcastle fan and that was the first time I’ve scored against them, so I’d be lying if I said it didn’t feel good. “I had quite a few messages and calls waiting for me afterwards from my mates as well, so I wasn’t the only one who enjoyed it.” Howard’s goal was just reward for an enterprising start from the hosts and it arrived when Titus Bramble misjudged a long clearance downfield, allowing the Pools man to steal in. And he reflected: “I knew Titus had missed the flight of the ball and I thought ‘I’ve got a chance here’. “I managed to bustle him off it and I was in. “But with the pitch being hard and sticky the ball was bouncing all over the place. “I was waiting for it to come down and just thought ‘keep it low’. “I did that and it’s went straight through his legs.” The low blast was Howard’s first since returning to the club earlier this month and it secured a first win of the summer for Neale Cooper’s men. But the former Leicester City powerhouse believes it was a well-deserved triumph. “I thought it was a very organised performance and we looked fit,” said Howard, who had appeared just 48 hours earlier during the feisty 1-1 draw at Whitby Town. “I’ll be sore after two games in three days but I’m getting there and the more games the better. “You need those games against Whitby and it was certainly physical. “But to come and play against a quality side like Sunderland is a different test and we did very well and deserved the win.”
Think Bruce will do well for Hull short-mid term, he has connections and clubs pay for that 'sort of ****'. The bitterness he displays makes good column inches and keeps his friends happy. We have MON, let the dog have his day, we have bigger, better fish to fry. Edit; forgot the comma after bigger
