Daft comments from Bale and Walker, in my opinion. They're not wrong but AVB has already criticised Adam and this just drags it out longer.

I can understand Bale's angry but eveyone knows Adam is a twat, no need to tell everyone.

Ankle ligaments are an awful bloody injury. I broke my ankle back in April and snapped ligaments at the same time. Thanks to the skill of the NHS surgeon, the bones were repaired in 7 weeks. However, the ligaments are still causing me problems 13 weeks later, the foot is still swollen and I can only do limited exercise before the foot swells uncontrolably. I still can't work and it is still bloody painfull. Someone should smash Adam's ankle and see how he likes it. Perhaps we should sign one Joseph Barton and let him do a 'cameo' apperance next time we play the mousers.

  3. We know that. Which is why this thread is about Charlie Adam.
    <doh>

    Now, go away.

  4. Sorry YV - have to disagree with you on this. Bale has every right to speak out, it's his career at stake with that thug roaming about unpunished. And if the extra publicity helps ensure a lengthy ban for Adam then that has got to be for the best.

And as for a Mouser ****er (Guff) coming on this t and using semantics to make light of it..... <doh> Consistently makes himself look stupid. Pity, cos most of the comments on here from 'pool fans have been reasonable.

  5. By the way, anyone know the extent of Bale's injury, or how long he is expected to be out for?

  6. Only seen the 'crutches' comment which tells us nothing. Very nervous time as Bale was looking strong and ready for the PL season.

If the ligaments are snapped 3 months if he is lucky. The bones come adrift and try to exit the inside of your foot.

Yeah, I must admit I thought about that afterwards. Ultimately Adam can't get banned though, he'd need to have been sent off like Scholes(or was it Rooney) did awhile ago and even then I think the ref or someone from the country's FA has to complain to ours.

He can talk about challenges like this becoming more common and putting players like him at risk and simply dislike him in private, there's no need to turn this into a public fued and make a sideshow for eveytime the two play eachother now.

As for Gaf, it's best to ignore him, he's duller than an audiobook on CPofL's research into USA tour attendances read by Steve Davis.

So why are a lot of the posts in the thread talking about someone called Charlie Adams?
Have we signed a new player? If you want to talk about our quality players, please get their names correct. Many thanks.

It's happened 3 times, twice by Spurlock. I doubt you've signed a new player but if you have I'm sure he's an overpriced flop like the rest <ok>

This comment is almost reminiscent of Arsenal under Wenger. The very thing Spurs fans have criticised Goons for in the past.

I agree Adam is a twat but this is way OTT HIAG

  14. It's not if you consider the history of 'assaults' by Adam on Bale. And to compare with the Whinger is ridiculous.

    Adam is a c*nt.

For a guy who has undoubtedly good technical ability, he really lets himself down with this vicious side. I can appreciate that at times, in the heat of the moment players make rash challenges, Parker and Sandro are no strangers to diving in, but viciously sliding in from behind, studs up never winning the ball in a bloody friendly is just ridiculous.

Credit to the 'Pool fans who've not defended him though, a lot of fans would try and praise the player or claim there was nothing wrong with the tackle, so fair play <ok>

Swap Bale with an Arsenal player and I've seen comments reminiscent from Arsenal fans. I'm not defending Adam but it seems a bit rash

does he really have good technical ability though? I've yet to see it. He is a poor mans Paul Scholes

Yes, I suppose that could possibly indicate that there's more than one of them, and one of any low life cowardly thugs, like that piece of ****, is one too many, anyway!.

To be fair, when he was at Blackpool, some of his displays that I saw showed he's got a cracking left peg. Brilliant set piece taker and his range of passing was impressive. Could understand why a few teams were interested but then seeing his malicious side, just puts his talent in the shade.
