Morning all - I would say that starting line-up is at VERY best equal to last seasons team that crossed the line which we know finished us 14th - Worse than the team that started last season - I feel Drury will start at LB and White will be used as a winger or super sub to inject pace when needed.

Dury will deffo start. White could even be the guy to play in the hole if we dont sign anyone! Back five so much stronger than before, but we are lacking creativity and that little bit of flair. I do think the squad assembled so far are more than capable of finishing above 14th though as we are going to be very hard to beat. Couple more exciting signings then I will be as happy as I can be considering Snods gone
I would imagine Thompson will be going nowhere if we do not sign a right back. This is my best guess before any more signings. Norris might squeeze into it and Austin might start as a sub until he gets used to the English game. Who knows whether its a strong team, it certainly should have plenty of bite.
although not his favoured position, Green has played at right back so could be used in emergencies...
Crainey in the centre & Lees out wide has been Warnocks line up pre season. Dont know if he will sign Crainey but I am sure he is just having a look to see if Lees can do a job there. Personally I think we will bring a RB in and Crainey maybe signed as CB back up or to compete with Lees
Yea, I think we should be signing Crainie. Although I haven't seen any pre-season games I still think he would serve as decent back-up
My concern with him would be the amount of time Warnock is taking over signing him. Gray was signed up before anyone else made a move, forget my opinion on Gray, NW obviously felt a need to get him signed up quick. If Crainie was any good surely NW would have secured him down by now? The extended trial suggests he is not that good and will only be signed if we can't get better??
I think its out of order if he doesn't offer him a contract. How long has he been on trial, if we don't intend to sign him then we should allow him to go trial elsewhere. I hate it when football clubs do this to players
