Come on man, Poleon, Gimpel and Thompson aren't the sort of top class youth I'm after. I'm on about players who can make a real splash in this division and make the step up immediately. Players like Joe Allen. I don't necessarily agree we'll go up as long as we keep signing the same sort of players we have so far, but if we do, we're not gonna last long or make much of a mark. Gimpel is an outstanding young player so is Poleon, we can only bring youth through with experience in the side, Sanchez Payne the turner twins, along with a little midfielder called Ali Amiri, so yes we do have the talent in the wings, but the only way we keep em, getting promotion !. Then we let them loose on the premier league and hope we can keep them for a second season.

We were going backwards when Revie and Wilko came in! They had a long-term vision which they could implement in the short-term. Can still be done today if the manager and club have the right ambition and have the guts to really drive it.

Yea I understand he has a reputation but I have never thought much of him. I think he is a bit of a cockhead as well, his playing style is dull to say the least and he has always failed in the prem Not only this, he is only in it for a year, maybe 2 maximum which isn't good for the club whatsoever and its now showing because he is only signing old players that can do a job for 1 year. When/if we get to the prem we're gonna have to have another squad overhaul because the core of our team won't be good enough to survive there, as well as having a new manager to juggle it about as well. If we do get back in the prem we are gonna struggle to stay there because of this appointment, it just seemed like an appointment by Bates to keep fans happy or try to make them happier about a **** situation
