First game was truly dire until the last 5 minutes <laugh>

Second game was great though. Muniain and Mata bossed the game, just seemed to be a forcefield around the Honduras goal. Muniain the next Iniesta?

Muniain was utterly amazing. The lad was on a different planet. He's 19 and plays for Bilbao.
If I were Carr I'd be moving heaven and earth to get him.
He's the type who would slot into the Barca team so well though.

The number 9 for a morocco had a Greg game today too.

That Morocco number 9 was a one man show at times, still can't believe we watched Spain go out to Honduras.

Would still rather have Ba and Cisse. Wouldn't mind Munian that as he looked class tonight, though Spain were poor for an hour.

I don't think Spain expected a match, they seemed to think they just had to turn up to win it. Thought their fans were good mind, also the Japanese fans were great.

All in all a very good night with some good football played, wouldn't have missed it for the world.

Was a bit surprised there was 22 players still on the field, especially as one guy put his hands on the ref which I thought was an automatic red.

Yeah, that no. 9 seriously impressed me. But any hope of us getting Muniain is about the same as hoping we got someone like Pedro last season <laugh>
Though he does seem to have a bit of a temper doesn't he?

Also was rather impressed by that no.15 from Honduras, with the long hair.

Anyone else in stitches when the Honduran no.7 went down in agony, only to get up and scream for the ball when they got it back? <laugh>

To be fair I think De Gea was the one with the worst temper.

They were all pretty irate by the end <laugh>

And to be fair, I don't think Spain got much of a game. Honduras scored from a break and then didn't do much the rest of the game.

Too much play acting by lots of them, everybody was getting in on the act. The thing is they didn't need to do it, they had some great skills and played some good football, none of the ducking and diving paid dividends for them.

Really, Honduras played some good football in the first and were deservedly in front, second half they rode their luck and Spain did everything but score.

The play acting was getting beyond a joke.
Ref should have taken a firmer grip.

I think a lot of it was purely attempts to waste time, but the ref saw through it and hardly ever stopped the game. Looking forward to the Brazil game now, expecting them to go wild and try all they can to wow us tbh.

That number 2 for Honduras was ridiculous, saw at least 3 ridiculous acts over acting from him.
