If this happens the T/O must have been done cos we aint got 3 million. Hope its true and we keep McCormack as well, he offers something different to Becks. <ok>

Just say this did materialise, what would we have received/paid out for Beckford since he left? Would we be in deficit?

I went through a few tweets after posting this and noticed he isn't far off with a lot of his stuff, who knows, I have my fingers crossed. My mate just told me Beckfords sister is asking Leeds fans if they would like to see Beckford back in a Leeds shirt. Bit of a strange one and putting 2+2 together, no idea where he has seen this, probably twitter as he is a twitter junkie.

Why would she ask this unless there was maybe something in the pipeline? With other news that NW wishes to keep McCormack now we might have a front line of Beckford, McCormack and Becchio - Could they all play at the same time or any two from three I wonder - Maybe I am getting ahead of myself now :)

RISTAC, she could have done it to get the followers up, plenty seem to do immature crap like that!

BOAB, good point! I am sure his wages would have risen above 3 mill by now though, but at least we would have had his services for that time & who knows on our first season back his firepower could have made the difference and maybe just maybe we could have claimed a top 6 spot.

Would love to see backford back as long as Warnock uses him in the right way. We all know where he's strongest unlike Everton and the foxes.

He left us for Everton and even though he was played out of position on the wing, used as a sub or lone striker (Which he aint) he was Evertons top scorer. He's scored some great goals for the foxes but not used in the right position and now they've brought in a new striker I reckon he's going somewhere as I don't see him being 4th choice down there.

Doc, he scored some fantastic goals for everton as well. The one against Chelsea springs to mind, pretty sure he scored a great goal against the scum as well. I would love to have a set of strikers of Beckford, RosCo and Becchio

If it came off, the I could see Becchio and Becks up front and would see McCormick Sat behind them like a Teddy Sheringham role. Would we have the Midfield to be able to do this who knows, wishful thinking tho.

    Varney -- McCormack -- White/Rodgers

    --- Becchio -- Beckford

Starting to look more promising with Austin, Green, Norris fighting for two positions, would still like to see another winger signed of top quality.

*EDIT* No wonder it was looking better, can't do my sums, I was looking at 4 -2 -3- 2 no matter how solid we are, we would be in trouble without a keeper *doh*

I think if we did get Beckford back, McC. would end up playing wide left with license to roam as he saw fit. All in all, great news were it to happen.

I'd prefer Becks and McCormack to play together upfront with Becchio providing something different from the bench personally but it'd give great options as well as not even mentioning Somma yet
