excellent display by the 3 cardiff lads, ramsey showed why he should have started..

fantastic representation for one city to have, apart from london perhaps the highest representation in the squad.

    onwards and upwards :)

They played brilliantly! I think they are growing as a team and the English lads started to play well aswell in the second half

Even if there was DJR, they'd have been eliminated already lol.

Bellamy is having a stormer so far in this comp! Sturridge (who I think has been useless apart from the 1 goal) is the only player to score who is either not welsh or currently plays for a welsh team. Pretty sure cleverly is the only English player to assist aswell..

Another cardiff boy who would have guaranteed a medal: bale. I thought bellers and rambo make that team step up a level. Ramsey looked 3 steps ahead of everyone in the first game, sordell seems to have realised he neefs to be on his toes when you have ramsey in the team. Allen played more positive last night, i thought he killed a lot of our attacks in the first game.

In all fairness we had no one to attack in the first game, whenever a ball was knocked in the box there was either 1 person there or no one. A few times Allen looked up to pass forward but there was rarely anything on. Ramsey seems to be the difference as he is always showing and creating space for the forward pass.

Your only chance of getting out of an international group stage is with English players included ;)

I agree we didn't have much on but sometimes just pushing the play up the field and then holding it up is what you need to springboard the attack. Ramsey has to start, our strongest area is midfield so we need to keep the ball in the opposition half.

Let's hope it doesn't go to penalties then.
