five year plan my arse , things are looking grim not replacing bent is looking like a big mistake dont have much faith in bruce leading us out of this one no goals = no wins
I thought we played our best football for a long while today, and I still can't fathom out how we managed to lose this game.
At least we didn'f fold after the first little set-back today - which is what we have been doing. That was encouraging. But the fact is we should have built a midfield around the abilities of Bent and not frustrated him till he left. The danger now is that Gyan is faced with the same lack of service - so how long will he stay? We had a problem with Bent getting frustrated, and we're STILL ignoring the problem. In the meantime. we have two South American internationals warming the bench. If you see the sense of that, please explain to me - because I'm damned if I do.
