Ok so the first thing I want to raise as Mod is what you guys want to do about our header (aka banner). Obviously we play in red now and don't have that badge anymore. Do we want to update it? Or leave it to mark our history? Your call. If you want to suggest alternatives post them below. Width needs to be 1800px, height less important but I'd go for 3-400px. My opinion is we need an update, but it's for everyone to decide.
How about a picture of the stadium with the Fred Keenor statue in the foreground? This will solve the issue of the re-brand where both pro and anti re-brand fans can unite and discuss football issues under the Cardiff City FC banner. Just a thought.
I am a bit of a web developer so I have all the image tools (photoshop, fireworks etc) so I can put something together if you give ideas for elements like above. I'm not the best graphic designer in the world so don't expect miracles, if you guys can do it..please do. I'll do a few draft ideas over the weekend and we can all make a call next week with anything that gets contributed.
pont, the one above i did when the forum first started to take off. I did a new one and sent it to swamp when 'Redgate' first kicked off. I avoided bluebirds and rebranding altogether for the reasons taff mentioned. just blended images of iconic images of CCFC from past to present (brian clarke v RM, Fridays V sign, NP gates, CCS, FK1927 etc) Red blue green or yellow, those things will stay with everyone imo. I like the idea of moving left to right from Riverside FC to the new branding (and everything inbetween). Not sure exactly how to utlize the space but I've got an idea. I'll knock one up when I can and we can all vote.
Knocked this up in 2mins, I think the majority of my ideas are a bit beyond my ability. This is simple and will appeal to our neighbours .

Given the managerial life expectancy of modern managers is limited do you think it a good idea to include Malky? Just a thought, no idea how long it takes to put these banners together
