That's simply not true. Snoddy was never told he needed to play in the EPL, to get further Scotland caps. His non appearances of late are mainly due to his own injuries and attitude at that time. Snoddy has wanted to play at a higher level for a couple of years and was as close as you get to joining Everton last season. He was told by Bates and Grayson that they wanted to keep him and that they would bring in players capable of gaining promotion, this of course was lies and Snoddy was/is very angry about how he was treated. The current Leeds squad is pitiful, it is simply not good enough and full of players who try to give 100% but don't have the technical ability or footballing skill to progress, they are also older than the previous squad and that means more injury prone and less able to physically play for the full game. You can't sell decent players and replace them with players who have less ability but get on with the manager. Warnock has simply gone for players he likes and who he admits he wanted at other clubs, that doesn't mean they are good enough, it just means he likes them and Snoddy has basically had enough. He wanted to play in the EPL and Norwich (not his first choice by any means) have given him that offer and he will try to do his best with them. I personally think this move is a short term move and he may be away from them before the season ends, perhaps as a profit to Norwich. As far as I know, Snoddy has lots of feelings for Leeds United and especially the supporters, he really wanted to play in the EPL with them, but under Grayson and Warnock he simply didn't see the quality of players coming in who are required to achieve this. He gave Leeds United four seasons and he will be looked on as a Leeds Great in years to come.
This is my own opinion based on my own knowledge.

The Scotland manager made it very clear he needed to be in the Prem and playing against higher calibre teams to become a regular international. Warnock even stated this was part of it on the OS earlier this week.

No problem with the rest of your post other than your opinion that we have a lower quality squad is incorrect in my opinion

He wanted PL football with us, but didn't see us getting it so decided to move on for the good of his career.

Historically that is just not accurate. Of course, playing in a higher league would enhance a player's chances of selection, but it has not precluded numerous Scots from being selected by Levein.

However one looks at it, Snoddy chose to leave as Leeds was not an attractive alternative to him. Since this has happened to numerous of our better players over the last few years, it should be clear to all where the problem lies, given our huge attanedance and revenue numbers each season.

    Apparently it's not.

How you mean another Beckford? Beckford did pretty well in the Prem, he just happened to realize he wasn't paid very well at both Leeds and even Everton and with his career coming to a close within the next couple of years he wanted to earn as much money as he could possibly within that time......hence the move to Leicester. In his first season in the Prem he scored 8 goals and 2 in the cup which isn't bad for a league one strikers first season in there.

I believe and hope Snoddy will do well at Norwich in the Premier League because he deserves it. He's put up with the lies, the disappointment and the discontent associated with bates time in charge that we have except he has a career to think bout and he isn't going to get any younger.

We do the opposite. It's so trendy to label up-and-coming players as 'overrated' or 'distinctly average'. See: Adam Clayton, Aidy White, Fabian Delph, England under 21s, et al.

Fact or your opinion? He isn't guaranteed a starting place in the Norwich team so how it will improve his chances is anyone's guess. Add to that going he will be going from a stand out player in the Championship to an average looking one in the Premier League...

"He wants to play in the Premier League. He believes his Scotland international career may be better served in the Premier League" - Warnock on LUFC official website

"The Scotland manager has told me a few times that there is a window of opportunity for progress. I need to think about that as well. It's hard for an international manager to throw a Championship player in at the deep end for some of these big World Cup or European Championship qualifiers. He's got a job to do and needs to pick his best possible XI. If you are playing with better players in the Premier League, then it only helps Scotland as well." Robert Snodgrass - http://www.heraldscotland.com/sport...ow-of-opportunity-for-me-to-progress.17659724

If you can't read between the lines and see what's directly in front of you, I suggest you lot get to specsavers.

Read my words: Levein has made it clear to Snoddy he needs to be playing in the Prem up against better calibre of player and improving, and Snoddy has made that clear that it is what he is going to do to help his family, and help his international career.

I'm very confident that Levein has not spoken to Snoddy about this, he may have told the media he has but Levein is fast becoming a twat and will say and do anything that makes him appear a leader to the sports media.

Don't forget that Ross Mac was also left out of a shocking Scottish squad for similar reasons. But then levein went for a L1 player from udds to give him a chance

Snoddy was not left out, he chose to stay home and work on his back.

If he is picking L1 players, why do certain people believe he told Snoddy he MUST play in the Prem to have a chance? I think Snoddy just was trying to reinforce that he has made the right move.
