    Also, shocked that Phelps didn't manage a medal tonight. Apparently machines can be beaten.

    Rebecca Adlington's coach Bill Furniss tells BBC Radio Nottingham the Mansfield swimmer is in "a great place" and could not be better prepared to defend her two Olympic titles.

    Adlington begins the defence of her 400m and 800m Olympic freestyle titles this weekend - with the heats for the 400m on Sunday morning.

    Furniss says her preparation could not have gone any better and "no-one could have worked harder than Adlington".

    There's a bit of negativity around the games just now.....
    Ticket touts, arrests, empty seats, cav missing out on a nailed on gold.
