Well I'm not over enamoured with our front three, very experimental. I reckon there'll be a lot of substitutions this match. Also, Flano-Cole is a weak wing which will be exploited. I'd like them to prove me wrong, but watch Spurs mostly attacking down our right-hand side. Spearing will have to work very hard!
Spurs Freidel, Assou Ekotto, Jenas, Gallas, Bale, Naughton, Kaboul, Lennon, Livermore, Sigurdsson, Kane. Should be a good game.
Think he is just taking a good look at all the players. He knows all about the likes of Agger etc, and the others have just returned from the euro's. Strange no Aqua though.
Hope Lucas comes on and 'introduces' himself to $iggurdson. Spearing can deputize at that in the meantime. Spurs could have been stronger, too. I think Spurs will just edge it until we make some subs. I still get the feeling we'll lose this match but, providing I see some promising performances, I don't give an echidna's anus!
Freidel Naughton Kaboul Gallas Ekotto Lennon Jenas Livermore Bale Sig Kane Not going to be much of a threat from us but our right hand side has plenty of pace yet our centre mid is weak. Should be interesting!
Hopefully Suso, Aqua, Pacheco and Agger who have good minutes under their belt are being rested for wednesday.... Thought Borini and Carroll would have had a half each at CF. To be honest I cant make head nor tail of this lineup......Which probably means we will dominate and win...really cant see it though
Yeah, it's the only thing that makes sense. He's looking at certain players in certain roles, partnered with other players, I think. Will be verrrrry interesting. Gerrard said he's definitely on later, hopefully with Carroll and Borini. Great front three.
You would think with the europa game so close they would get some time!?!? Hope we dont lose Agger to madrid
Fancy a liverpool win here. Not liking the look of Spurs midfield, though Bale, Lennon and Siggy will no doubt pose a threat. Will be interesting to see how much we have developed under Rodgers against Prem opposition, albeit both sides are under strength.
They should walk this looking at their starting XI. Much stronger than ours. Dunno how their bench is compared to ours though.
Funnily enough, I think the complete opposite. I think our Centre-mid is fairly strong and that our right side is lacking pace. It's a funny old world.
Na, that Spurs team ain't that great. Have a bit of faith. Think Rodgers will be eager to get his first win, so expect LFC to make a real effort for this one, lots of players fighting for a place.....
Got the Swans boys hovering around on this thread AGAIN, think we have got ourselves some new closet fans.
