Well it's official then, I will now comment on the transfer! Was a great player for us in league one and dependable enough in the championship, but was clearly never going to be a fixture in a premier league team. Good luck to him at Forest, I'm sure he'll be a good signing for them.
I'm sure they will. I've never seen a player want the ball so quickly for a throw in. Maybe he had something against them.......
well if true then thanks Dan for your efforts to get the team where we are today. I agree that he is down the pecking order and wouldn't have made my starting line up for the Championship let alone the Prem.
Met him a couple of times, my brother played football with his son a couple of times, and my sister is best friends with his daughter. Nice lad, just spoke to him a lot when he was picking up his kids and I was picking up my Brother and Sister. Kelvin and him go to places together, Cleveland Bay pub, school fairs, Nando's are all the places I have spotted them together. Wish him all the best and good luck in the future.
Just had a look on a Forest forum and they're creaming themselves because he played a key role in a side who got promotion from the Championship... key role...?
Am I correct in thinking he's only our 2nd player to be sold in the Liebherr Cortese era behind Chamberlin. The rest released or loaned?
I don't think so because there was Oscar Gobern (tribunal) and Joseph Mills who might have been a small fee to Reading.
Very true. I'm sorry to see him go actually. I know I'm in a minority of one, but I would have him every day over Fox. I think he is a better defender, he gets to the line when attacking and scores the odd goal. Fox takes a good free kick but otherwise is somewhat of a liability in my opinion. In the few games in which we were outplayed last year, the major threats always came down his wing (e.g. Bristol and Blackpool). Anyway, good luck to Harding he should be remembered as one of the team that started us on our journey.
Saints have just taken the article down from the site and have backtracked quite quickly. Despite earlier story, paperwork has not been completed on the Dan Harding transfer to Forest, as such the deal is not complete #SaintsFC
