Morning all - mad day ahead and I have to pack up my desk as in someones twisted mind they thought moving my team 2 floors would be a good idea! A bit overcast in West West London...

Mexico - One Size - Fitz Hall i.e. One size fits all! <yikes>

I'm getting quite excited about the Olympics now...

Morning all, a few spots of rain last night but nothing much. The man at the meteo thinks storms are possible/likely/ certain/ or will pass by later today.

It looks as if Baz really was totally out of his depth and taking the club to a disaster is becoming more and more possible.

It has appeared in the Wobbly this morning about the alleged embargo<yikes> A little bit of clarification from the Club would be nice......Just to put the fans worries at ease shall we say;)

That last rumour must be completely made up, otherwise SD would still be manager and there wouldn't be any new coaching staff.

If we had an embargo from the FA it would have been announced - otherwise how would other clubs know?

GB archer Larry Godfrey has been ranked 4th for tomorrow - I asked Little Miss W_Y how Robin Hood was getting on, but she just ignored me. Seems she takes after her mother more and more each day..<yikes>

It has been very interesting to read the French press talking about the upcoming Olympics. One report invoked the spirit of WWII when the BBC used to broadcast over Europe using the call of "London Calling". "It is not the time to discuss why Paris did not win these games, London did, and from what we have seen we could not have done it better. All we can hope for is that our team perform as well as they can, but well done to London". ;)

Who says that the French will always have a go at us?

Saw something on page 14 of the newspaper today saying that some sort of sporting event is happening in London today. It said that there may be some crowds but that rugby is not involved so New Zealanders should not be affected.

NZ, not looking too rosy for the Black Caps, is it? I'll be seeing the All Whites on Sunday at Old Trafford against Egypt - after how close Egypt ran Brazil yesterday, I think that NZ will struggle but after Japan beat Spain, who knows?

The Olywhites lack confidence because they suffer from cultural cringe - they believe that because they are from NZ they can't be very good, especially if something goes against them such as the Belarus goal. Fortunately the All Whites seem to have got over this. It will be a good experience for the younsters and stand them in good stead for the next couple of World Cups where, effectively, we only have one reasonable team to beat in order to qualify.

Morning all from what is already a warm island. Shortly I'll be leaving to catch the bus to the airport then a flight to Southampton then another one to Manchester awaits. I'll be meeting pie there. Allowing for the time difference, he's either on the way to or already at Bordeaux airport - he then has to change at Paris Charles de Gaulle airport. I won't be on here until I return to Jersey (a direct flight from Manchester coming back but pie has the exact return journey of how he's getting there) on Monday afternoon. So I hope all of you have a good weekend.

Morning all, rather tired this morning after such a late night show. From what I can see from the French media they all loved it. Of course they have their own slant on it: Didn't our flag bearer look lovely.

Have to agree that Macca should give it a rest, not a high point to finish the show on.

Must try and watch Cav and team rushing up and down Box Hill during the day. If he gets to The Mall within striking distance of the leaders I have great hopes for him.

Very disappointing road race for team GB, wrong tactic me thinks. I don't know why the commentators keep going on about the other nations not helping us<yikes> Why on earth should they;)
