Get with the programme guys. As soon as the SDcotland manager told Snoddy he needed to be playing in the Prem to get a chance of a sniff at the international scene, Snoddy was off. The rest has been theatre.

Expect the same from McCormack, but only as long as he gets a move to a Prem club.

Is this McCormack guy any good ? There are strong rumours in these parts that we're preparing a bid for him too. <whistle>

Thats probably a wind up but I will bite. Yeah I rate him, can play in the hole of the striker or on the wing or in a top two and seemed to perform more often than not when deployed in any of those positions this season. Notoriously hot and cold player but when he is on fire he is an asset. That doesn't necessarily transfer over to the prem though of course.

Looking at twitter that's what you'd think. <doh>

Amazing what some fans will claim about their ex-players so they don't have to question why they want to leave.

Schmeichel is still overrated though. <ok>

The sad thing is for a club like Leeds when you see people like Beckford, Gradel, Schmeichel, Howson and Snodgrass all leaving because of ambition. It just shows how low your club has sank. You have now lost all of your assets in the last 12 months and havent really signed any great players. I think things are going to get worse for you before they get better

    **** it I'm biting.

Your a ****ing idiot if you still think thats the reason Schmeichal left. It was OUR decision to get rid of him and he was being replaced regardless. I wouldn't class him anywhere near one of the better players we have sold in the last 2 years so can ya let it go.

You sold him because he wouldnt sign a new deal

He wouldnt sign a new deal because the ambition at Leeds wasnt there

Look at the interviews at the time dickhead

Grayson said we were looking to strengthen that area, we wouldn't offer him the same contract as what he was already on (which was 14k a week or around that) and that was the reason we accepted the offer

Schmeichal said in an interview he wanted to stay at leeds and was dissapointed that an offer had been accepted for him and that was around the time Bates started talking **** about Schmeichal

I'll be the first to admit that we as a club didn't handle the situation well but he really was not that wanted at ER by that point

Schmeichel wasn't wanted any more. We didn't handle replacing him very well but he had a big ego he couldn't back up with his performances.

So i take it you lot are all happy with the ambition at the club and the direction you are heading. Puts it this way you wont be in the prem any time soon unless things change

Schmeichal was sold by Bates for a quick buck WITHOUT Graysons knowledge. That is FACT.
My mate (who is a Leeds fan) is a good friend of Glyn Snodin & had a go at him for letting Kasper go & Snodin told him that Grayson had been stitched up good & proper by Bates on that score. Thats why I felt sorry for Grayson having to deal with a toe rag Chairman like MasterBates.

So the "Simon thought he could do better" statement was completely made up by Bates i assume?

No, anything is believable as far as Bates is concerned when it comes to selling players for a profit, however it seems very wrong/stupid to actually say "However, just as important is the retention of our best players which we have done despite approaches from other clubs- with the exception of Schmeichel as Simon decided he could do better".

I wonder when Simon decided he could do better? When he was left with the situation of having Cairns as the only goalkeeper option, because the twat Bates decided to cash in.
