You guys obviously have your own view on Barton and QPR and even a level-headed and intellectual chap like Thai isn't going to convince you otherwise. If it were any other club (bar Ipswich), I doubt you'd give a toss.
i really don't think that's fair. i have no grudge against qpr. whoever barton played for would end up having to deal with something eventually and this can't really have come as a surprise to you that he's ended up with a lengthy ban. the issue here is that we think its cheating to try and get him a slightly shorter ban and no matter who had done that i'd say the same.
But why does everyone keep saying we are trying to cheat the FA? We aren't sensing him to fleetwood, Barton asked the club if he could train with them. This all came about while the Qpr team and management were on a plane back the Asia. We have left him out to dry for 6 months and don't want him around full stop. As had been mentioned he wouldn't even be mentioned at Qpr if we could have got rid of him. But as it stands, Barton is training with some mates at fleetwood. Qpr have no interest in this at all, but Barton at the very least deserves the chance to train. But we haven't sent him on loan there, we couldn't give a ****e how long he's banned fir cause he won't be eligible to play until January, by which time I'm sure he wouldn't even get to clean the first teams boots.
